11/2/23 – This is a fair example of a Colt Model 1861 Navy revolver, manufactured in 1864 and chambered in .36 caliber. All matching and fully functional. Overall, the gun is in fair condition, but there is obvious brown “attic patina” covering the whole gun. Some pitting on the cylinder. The cylinder scene is fairly worn but still barely visible. Fitted with very nice wood grips. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is light surface rust throughout.
