9/16/22 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1849 Pocket Percussion revolver, manufactured in 1859 and chambered in .31 caliber. It is all matching and has the Colt stagecoach scene on the cylinder. The gun comes in a very nice reproduction wood box with a bullet mold, loading tool, powder horn, a few lead bullets, and some percussion caps. The gun itself is in fair condition overall. The cylinder scene is mostly faint and there is brown patina and spotty oxidation throughout. A couple of areas of light scratching on the left side. Comes with nice wood grips – some light chipping in the wood finish throughout. The bore has good rifling with light oxidation in the grooves.
