10/22/21 – This is a military-issued Colt 1911 from 1918. Slide and frame are original but the finish was redone at some point after the war and is now parkerized (originally blued). It does not have arsenal re-work proofs though. Comes with WW2-era ‘HS’ barrel with excellent bore. The grips are also WW2-era with sharp checkering and no notable defects. Magazine is post-WW2 and has a serial number on the base.
