7/26/23 – This is an original U.S. Military issued Colt 1911 from 1914. The pistol is all original with around 50-60% of the blue remaining, as there’s notable bluing loss on the slide, front strap and mainspring housing. Proper barrel with disconnected, horizontal ‘P H’ markings. Bore is generally clean and in good condition but does have minor frost and some wear to the rifling. Nice wood grips with no cracks or chips but the right panel does have a notable indent. Later two-tone mag without lanyard. The lanyard ring on the frame was also removed and filled.
