3/27/20 – This is a very nice example of an original Colt Government Model 1911 from 1920. It comes with a Colt factory letter that states it shipped in January of 1920 to Sears Roebuck in Chicago. It has about 92-94% of the original blue with high point wear on the top and underside of the slide, front edge of the frame and bottom of the back strap. Also some surface freckling along the top of the slide and right side of muzzle. Terrific grips and excellent two-tone magazine. Bore is shiny with strong rifling but a little bit of frost.
