8/2/21 – This is a mint example of a Colt 1911 that was produced to commemorate the Battle of Belleau Wood. The Battle of Belleau wood is where the United States Marines stopped the German Offensive. The Marines fought so hard that the Germans gave them the nickname “Devil Dog”. The gun is in like-new condition and remains in the presentation/display case these were sold in. FFL required.
