2/11/22 – This is a matching and original Colt 1860 Army revolver from 1863, manufactured in the middle of the Civil War. Matching numbers on frame, grip, barrel, trigger guard and cylinder. The finish is original but obviously worn thin in all areas. The Naval scene on the cylinder is worn but some parts are still visible. Good mechanics as we had our gunsmith tune this. Bore has strong rifling but heavy frosting and needs a thorough cleaning. It very well may clean up nicely with a little effort. The military cartouche is somewhat visible on the left grip panel, and you can make out where it was marked on the right panel but it’s generally worn away. Comes with a wooden display case.
