10/18/23 – This is a Colt 1851 Navy Revolver from 1857. It is all matching and fully functional. It is US military marked. The gun shows obvious heavy brown patina, spotty oxidation, and minor pitting throughout. The cylinder scene is still mostly visible. Nice period-correct wood grips with faint military inspection stamps on both sides. The bore has decent rifling, but there is noticeable spotty surface oxidation throughout.
