3/6/23 – This is a very nice example of an Inland M1 carbine originally issued to the US military in about November of 1944. It was later reworked and sold to the public through the CMP Program. This one comes with the original CMP certificate. The barrel is Inland and dated 11-44. The stock is marked “IR” in the sling well and has flaming bomb military proofs. Adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug were added. Because the gun has been refinished, the bluing is actually really nice. Not much actual finish loss, just some light scuffs here and there. An area of rectangular shaped scratching on the op rod. Very nice wood stock with just minor scratches and handling marks throughout. Mint bore. Comes with one magazine.
