11/3/23 – This is a Sharps Model 1863 Rifle from the Civil War. Comes with an original bayonet. Overall, the gun is in nice condition for its age, but there is noticeable brown patina and spotty oxidation throughout. The wood is very nice with only minor handling marks and scratches. There is a crisp military inspection stamp on the left side. Most of the bore is shiny with very strong rifling, but there are some areas of noticeable oxidation here and there.
