8/20/24 – This is a rare WW2 German Chorded Chinstrap for a Party Leader or Officer Visor Cap. The chinstrap features a red string with an attached RZM tag that’s attached to one end of the chinstrap. The tag is aged yet all markings are visible – we trust this is an authentic example as it was purchased directly from the family of the veteran. The chinstrap is excellent, featuring a tightly wound twisted string and two bullion knots; one on each end. The chinstrap is somewhat twisted and due to improper storage for some time, but this helps prove its’ authenticity and age. Otherwise excellent, minty condition and a rare historical example.
