1/6/21 – This is an excellent example of a Chinese Norinco SKS, manufactured in about 1962-70. Made in Factory 26. This one is unique because it has a red bakelite stock and comes with capture paperwork (copies, not originals). A veteran in the US Army 517th Eng Co captured this gun and exported it to the US out of Vietnam. The gun is all matching and in excellent condition. No import marks. It has the original bayonet and sling. The metal parts have retained most of their finish – just some areas of minor thinning here and there. The stock just has a few handling marks. The bore is mint.
