1/7/22 – This is a very nice example of a Chilean Mauser Model 1895 manufactured in the early 1900’s. The gun is all matching except for one small part at the back of the bolt. The stock is also numbered and matching. Small import mark on the underside of the barrel. There are Chilean seals on the chamber and left side of the stock. It comes with a cleaning rod and a Chilean-issued bayonet and scabbard. The scabbard and bayonet are numbered and match each other but do not match the gun. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition, retaining most of its finish. There is very minor wear around the muzzle and a couple of small spots of wear along the barrel. Some light scratching on the left side of the receiver. There are areas with tiny dots of oxidation here and there, most noticeable on the bolt and floor plate. The wood stock is very nice with only minor dings and scratches here and there. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking in the grooves.
