8/7/19 – This is an original WW2 production NSKK Officer’s dagger, complete with an original, double stamped NSKK chain. The chain is properly marked “NSKK Musterschutz Korps Führung” and has a “RZM M5/8”. The scabbard has some light chipping on the black paint, but this is minor and mostly located on the wider, upper portion of the scabbard. The wood handle is excellent with no notable flaws and proper horizontal grain. The “SA” logo on the handle is excellent enamel finish. The aluminum eagle is short-necked and original as well (I believe this is correct for a 1942 wartime variation). The top of the handle has some speckling but overall light, normal wear from age. The blade has proper vertical machining lines, and the “Alles fur Deutschland” is properly centered on the blade. There is some very light spotting on the blade, but this is normal use/aging wear. The RZM stamp is crisp and has “M 7/66 1942” underneath. This is a code used by Eickhorn, but as this was wartime production, there is no Eickhorn logo stamp. Guaranteed original and authentic!
