7/13/23 – This is a rare Chained NSKK Officer Dagger from WW2. The dagger features an excellent condition blade that has distinct cross-graining visible throughout. There are a few light surface scratches and light scabbard rub wear throughout the blade. The edges are unsharpened and there’s a few light surface speckles of discoloration along the edge. The blade is inscribed “Alles fur Deutschland” on one side, and RZM maker code stamped M7/66 by Carl Eickhorn, with a 1941 date underneath. The nickel plated cross guards are non-magnetic and are in great condition with some very mild flaking along the edges. The wood grip is excellent with no cracks or chips. The black painted scabbard has some mild thinning and light spots of surface wear but is in excellent overall condition. The hanger is magnetic, nickel plated, and in excellent overall condition. The base link at each connecting point on the scabbard is stamped with an NSKK designation stamp and an RZM maker stamp, as shown. Comes with a 2020 dated receipt from dagger expert Thomas Wittmann.
