9/18/24 – This is a nearly unfired example of a Mauser Luger that was made to commemorate the ultra rare and desirable 1902 Cartridge Counter Luger. One of 250 examples produced, it comes with the original case, spare magazine , cleaning rod, takedown tool and manual. Blue finish, checkered walnut grips with exposed cartridge counter window in the left grip. Plated magazine with wood base and marked with Mauser banner logo. Early style dished toggles and grip safety. “DWM” engraved and gilded on the toggle. Left side of receiver engraved and gilded with “Mod. 1902/ Cartridge Counter”. With various German modern commercial proof marks and “Made in Germany” stamped on the rear of the frame. The gun is almost as new, with just a tiny bit of wear on the sideplate.
