5/22/20 – This is an original WW2 era Italian Carcano folding bayonet. These scarce bayonets are hard to find, especially in this condition. The blade has an interesting plumb coloring to it, and there’s only light wear in some small areas on the blade. The button / folding mechanism functions smoothly, as intended. The wood handle has no cracks or chips. The black painted scabbard is original as well, with only light spots of finish loss. Overall an excellent collector’s bayonet.
