10/31/2024 – For sale is a No4 Mk1 Lee Enfield that we believe was produced by BSA during WW2. The rifle had undergone refurbishment at the Pakistani Ordnance Factory in 1952. The metal has the usual black enamel finish seen on most refurbished Lee Enfields. Some of the finish is worn on the receiver and the finish is scratched around the front nose band and barrel. The stock, forestock, and handguard are in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The rifle has visible matching serial numbers on the forestock, receiver, and bolt. The magazine is unnumbered. The original markings prior to refurbishment have been scrubbed. The bore is bright but gets darker towards the last 5 inches.
