3/18/24 – This is a very nice example of a BSA .310 Martini Cadet rifle, manufactured in the early 1900’s and chambered in .310 Cadet. It is all matching and has a “VIC” marking on the receiver and a Victoria seal on the right side of the butt stock, indicating this gun was delivered to the government of Victoria, Australia for military training. The stock is also dated June of 1911. All matching. The metal parts have retained about 95% of their original finish. There is minor use wear, but no major bluing loss or corrosion. All markings are distinct and sharp. Very nice wood stock with only minor bruises here and there and some spots of dark discoloration. Front sight features a rarely seen slide on protector. Bore has strong rifling that rates an 8 of 10. Smooth, functional action. Really nice piece.
