5/1/23 – This is an original late WW2 production P.38 holster with fairly scarce brown leather. Most late war examples are black, but a few brown examples are found as the Germans were skipping production steps and using whatever materials they could find. The back leather of this holster is maker, date, waffen, and P.38 stamped. All markings are crisp and clear. The leather has typical surface wear and aging without any excessive damage. All original stitching intact as well.
