6/8/18 – This is an original WW1 era production Mauser C96 leather harness for the holster/shoulder stock. These are extremely scarce and difficult to find in tact. This harness is all original leather and stitching except for the back right belt loop which is attached with a metal clasp on the lower portion. The leather is almost completely in tact, except for a small hole in the corner of the cleaning rod pouch. There is a cleaning rod included, but it’s not original to WW1. The back of the harness is maker stamped, but the stamp is faint and only the latter portion is visible. There is also a 1916 date stamp. Guaranteed original and authentic.
