3/16/22 – This is an original British Jungle Carbine that was made in Fazakerley in 1945. Original finish with matching receiver and bolt, though the magazine is mismatched. Finish shows some wear on the magazine and some oxidation/minor surface rust on right side of the wrist. The stock has dings and nicks but no cracks. Bore has strong rifling but thorough frosting and could use a good cleaning. The rifle comes with an original bayonet and scabbard, as well as a canvas sling. The sling is dated to 1944, and the bayonet blade appears to date to 1946. Import mark on barrel.
