6/2/21 – This is a nice example of a Smith and Wesson Model 1 1/2 revolver, made in the late 1800’s. This one comes with an original box that is un-numbered (slight tearing along the edges). The gun is nickel-plated, and someone had their name engraved on the sides of the cylinder. It has retained roughly 85% of its original nickel-plating. There is chipping in the plating and spotty oxidation on the cylinder and the surrounding area. Comes with excellent hard rubber grips. The bore is shiny with good rifling and some areas of minor freckling.
