12/11/23 – This is an excellent Smith & Wesson Chief’s Special Airweight, chambered in .38 Special. 2″ barrel. It comes with a period-correct box. The bottom portion of the box is numbered and matching. The lid is a different color and un-numbered. The original finish rates about 97% with just hints of wear around the muzzle and on the high edges of the cylinder. Very light roll mark on the cylinder as well. Fitted with excellent checkered wood grips. Mint bore.
