8/9/23 – This is an excellent example of a Harrington & Richardson M1 Garand. The serial number on the receiver dates it to 1956. Springfield-marked barrel dated 1965. National Match-marked op rod. This gun is a Blue Sky import. It comes with its original import box and has an import mark on the barrel. It also comes with an owners manual, a cleaning kit, ten ENBLOC clips, and a couple of canvas slings. The metal parts have retained about 96% of their parkerized finish with just some light scuffing on the barrel and gas tube. Nice wood stock, but there are dings and scratches throughout. There are tiny textured dots along the right side of the stock where it appears that it was sprayed with some sort of finish or adhesive. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor pin-pricking in the grooves. Muzzle reading: 5. Throat reading: 1.
