12/6/23 – This is a Mauser P.38 put together by the French using leftover Nazi parts immediately after WW2. This one was imported by Interarms. It comes with its original matching Interarms box, owners manual, and two rare “U” marked magazines. The gun is all matching and has French proofs on the barrel and slide. No waffen proofs. Import mark on the underside of the slide. It has retained about 97% of its finish with just minor wear around the muzzle and on the front edges of the slide. Comes with French metal “gray ghost” grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional. Hang tag is still on the trigger guard. This gun is being listed as a sister to another gun on the site – they have almost identical serial numbers, just different suffixes. This one is “7246i” and the other is “7246g”.
