8/15/23 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser P.38 put together by the French using leftover Nazi parts immediately after WW2. This one was imported by Interarms. It comes with its original matching Interarms box, owners manual, and one magazine. The gun is all matching, has a French star on the right side of the slide, and has one “Waffen 135” Nazi military acceptance proof on the barrel. Import mark on the underside of the slide. The gun is in excellent condition. This phosphate finish is difficult to rate, but we estimate that it has retained about 90%. The finish on the frame is thin by nature, it does not appear to be actual wear. There is very minor thinning on the front strap, minor wear around the high edges of the right side of the slide, and a few tiny dots of discoloration here and there. Comes with black plastic grips – slightly shaved along the top edge of the left panel. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
