11/17/22 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser P.38 put together by the French using leftover Nazi parts immediately after WW2, in 1945-46. This one was imported by Interarms. It comes with its original matching Interarms box, owners manual, and one “Eagle 359” Walther magazine (small dent on the left side of the tube). The gun is all matching, has a French star on the right side of the slide, and has one “Waffen 135” Nazi military acceptance proof on the barrel. Import mark on the underside of the slide. The gun is in minty condition, retaining nearly all of its finish with just very minor muzzle wear and hints of wear on the high edges in general. Very minor pin-pricking and light brown patina on the front strap. Comes with black plastic grips – dings and scratches on both sides and slightly shaved along the top edges. The bore has strong rifling with very minor pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
