7/8/22 – This is an excellent example of a 2″ Colt Detective Special Revolver, manufactured in 1942 and chambered in .38 Special. It is is all matching and comes with a really nice matching-numbered reproduction cardboard box. The gun itself has retained about 97% of its original high polish finish. Generally, there is very minor wear around the high edges, a very light roll mark on the cylinder, and a few light and tiny scratches here and there, most noticeable on the right side of the frame. Comes with excellent Walnut grips. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight and the action is very smooth.
