5/4/23 – This is a very nice example of a Colt Combat Commander, manufactured in 1972 and chambered in .45 ACP. It comes with its original matching-numbered box and two proper magazines. The gun itself has retained about 95% of its finish with very light scratchy wear along the whole underside of the frame and front strap. While there is not much actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation throughout. A couple of small spots of heavy, textured oxidation on the slide release and on the left side of the muzzle. Heavy oxidation on one of the magazines as well. The gun is fitted with very nice wood grips – a few light bruises. Excellent bore with strong rifling and some minor fouling in the grooves.
