1/27/18 – This is an original WW2 era production Mauser Luger magazine. The left side of the magazine frame is “122” code stamped with two eagle 37 proof stamps. The base of the magazine is aluminum and original, but has been painted, or has a dark grey layer of residue on the base. This looks like someone trying to turn the magazine into a “black widow” magazine. However, the magazine is still valuable due to the lack of any stamps or markings on the base. If you clean this up and it comes out nicely, you still have a potential $250 magazine. The frame has some minor wear and light discoloration but overall is excellent. Guaranteed original.
