5/4/23 – This is a matching and original Black Widow Mauser Luger rig from 1942. The pistol has maybe 90% of the original blue remaining, with holster wear on the side plate, muzzle and right side rail. Both straps show minor oxidation and patina, as well. Original Black Widow grips with minor handling wear but no major defects. The rig includes a total of two original Black Widow magazines, both in excellent condition. No cracks or chips, just a small ding on the spare. Comes with an original tool, though the waffenamt is not a very crisp stamp. Appears to be E/63 marked. The listing also includes a nice ’42 dated holster, which has a GI embellished skull with crossbones added to the front. The holster also has some cuts on the inside and back, and we aren’t sure why. At first it looks like a piece of the leather was replaced but the cuts are only vertical, so not certain the cause.
