7/21/17 – This is an original WW2 Mauser Black Widow Luger magazine. The magazine has an original black bakelite base and blued aluminum frame. The oddity in this magazine is that there is no “fxo” or eagle/37 proof stamps on the tube. Almost every other black widow magazine I’ve seen has these markings. I don’t believe this is a fake magazine, but the lack of proofs gives me pause. Not sure what to make of this one. Perhaps an oversight? The spring is strong and fully functional. The magazine is in great condition overall.
