12/10/21 – This is an original black army Colt M1911 from 1918. It’s U.S. military issued and has maybe 65% of the original black army finish remaining. The profile is decent but the grip straps show notable wear. There’s also just patina all over the pistol in general. The gun is original and correct except for the barrel, which is a Springfield replacement, though the gun is not arsenal re-worked. Excellent grips with sharp checkering and no cracks. Original two-tone magazine. Terrific bore.
