5/1/24 – This is a fairly rare AKAH Walther PPK holster from WW2. The holster is unusual because it has black leather and stitching (which is usually attributed to wartime production), yet there’s an early style brass closure knob. This is likely due to private purchase or a “custom order” from the factory. The holster also features a faint, factory original Walther PPK designation ink stamp on the interior leather, and a smaller sized AKAH maker stamp under the closure strap (again, likely early production). There’s some light surface wrinkling on the top rounded portion of leather, as well as on the magazine pouch. No major issues however and the leather is in great overall condition with normal pliability and signs of previous use. All original stitching is tight and intact throughout.
