2/5/20 – This is an absolutely gorgeous, all original Russian pre-war Nagant revolver, that retains nearly all of its beautiful original blue with just a few tiny spots of discoloration here and there and a few freckles on the right side of the frame right above the trigger. There is very light muzzle and cylinder wear, as well. All matching, Tula made gun, it is profusely marked with five pointed star throughout, with sharp inspector marks as well. Excellent bore and grips. It comes with superb leather holster with a scarce long shoulder strap configuration that is maker marked inside the flap. Also, comes with an original lanyard cord. Judging by the condition, it was most likely captured either by Finns during the Winter War or by the Germans in the opening days of operation Barbarosa, and finally made it into the hands of the returning American GI.
