6/8/22 – This is a rare DWM model 1900 luger with American Eagle crest on the chamber. This is the first production model of this variation, made in or around 1900 with early dish toggle. These pistols went to the US retail market and the manufacturers at DWM realized that nation-based crests increased sales of these lugers, so that is why you find the American Eagle over the chamber. This is also why you see GERMANY marked on the frame, denoting these were exported for commercial sale. This one is all matching and has retained nearly all of its finish. There is just one light scratch on the front strap. Excellent straw finish on the small parts. Comes with very nice matching numbered grips and a blank bottom commercial magazine. Tiny repaired chip in the top corner of the left panel and a repaired hairline crack in the magazine bottom. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor pin-pricking throughout.
