4/13/22 – This is the rarest of all the Army-issued Mauser HSc’s! In 1941, Mauser ceased production of the model 1934 in favor of the HSc, and some of the first several thousand procured bear the same proofs as the model 1934 – Eagle/655 on trigger guard and the Army test proof on the grip tang. There were only 3,000 of this variation produced, with said markings and high-polish blue finish. This one has about 99% of its original bluing left. Just a tiny bit of muzzle wear but no noteworthy areas of bluing loss and no pitting. Excellent grips with no chips or cracks. Banner magazine in excellent condition. Minty bore.
