2/25/20 – This a very early, second month production, Japanese Type 14 Nambu pistol in excellent original condition. The gun is the lowest serial number Tokyo arsenal gun that we have seen in over 10 years. Dated 3.6 – it was made in June of 1928, and retains over 98% of its original bluing with just a few spots of wear on high spots. It is all matching, except for two original Tokyo arsenal made magazines, that are a couple of hundred digits away from gun’s serial. Both mags exhibit an early proof mark, only used by the Tokyo arsenal in 1928. Excellent bore and grips. The gun is a vet bring back and comes with a very nice leather holster with the vet’s name on the rear, and an original early cleaning rod. The holster also has Japanese markings inside the flap. A very early, rarely seen, complete Type 14 rig in outstanding original condition.
