3/16/22 – This is an absolutely gorgeous, and quite rare commercial Mauser Banner Luger from 1939 with the original, matching magazine. The general rule of thumb is that commercial pistols didn’t feature numbered magazines, but specifically in a small section of the ‘w’ block for Mauser Banner Lugers, many were issued with factory numbered magazines for unknown reason. This particular gun is all correct and original with 97% of the blue, just showing some holster wear on the muzzle, sideplate and bottom of the front strap. Mint bore, looks unfired. Unmarked grips with sharp checkering and no cracks or chips. Beautiful, original straw on the small parts. Presumably only a few hundred such examples remain, and this is a high-condition example.
