9/27/24 – This is a beautiful example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. “United States Property” marked with a cross canon cartouche and the appropriate “GHD” inspection initials. It has a correct Colt barrel with a small “F” under the lug. It has retained nearly all of its original parkerized finish with just a few tiny surface scuffs and marks here and there. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with an “S” marked magazine. Near-mint bore.
