4/4/23 – This is an Erma (AYF) 43 German LP.34 Flare Pistol from WW2. The pistol is made from duraluminum with a black anodized finish that rates at about 75-80% overall condition. There’s high edge wear along the chamber and muzzle, as well as the frame exterior. The front and back straps also have general thinning and finish loss throughout. There’s mild surface patina on the trigger as well. This example is mechanically sound with smooth action and all matching numbered parts. The grips are original but have some mild “play” or can slide / pivot slightly in place. The left grip panel has a crack that leads down to a chip in the bottom right corner. Properly proof stamped throughout.
