3/25/22 – This is an Australian made bayonet for an Enfield rifle. The bayonet is in excellent condition with a beautifully blued blade. The blade is maker stamped and there appears to be a faint 1907 date stamp above the maker. Likely this was refinished / repurposed after WW1. The wood handles are marked “AUSTRALIA” for export. Comes with a very nice scabbard that’s maker stamped and dated “Mangrovite ’42”. Also comes with a canvas frog as shown.
