7/21/23 – This is an original WW1 German Artillery Luger stock assembly, complete with leather harness attachments as shown. The wood stock is stamped with a rare crown G Imperial proof stamp. There’s also an Imperial (Erfurt) proof stamp on the lower leather attachment band with brass knob, as well as on the upper leather attachment end. The leather cup is maker stamped by Maury & Co., which is rare and desirable. The wood is in great condition despite a small area that appears to have been repaired at some point (shown in photos). This could also just be some cracking or a flaw in the wood. The metal female end of the stock is serial numbered 4901, and the metal has light surface patina throughout, but most of the bluing is still intact. We’re told this stock assembly originally came with a 1914 Erfurt Luger. A very nice assembly that’s extremely well marked.
