7/8/24 – This is an original Type 2 Artillery Luger snail drum magazine from WW1. The magazine comes with an original metal dust cover. The dust cover has retained about half of the original black painted finish, with oxidation and surface patina throughout. The magazine is Imperial proof stamped at the top of the tube, and is maker stamped by Bing with matching serial numbers on the top and bottom plates. Holds 32 rounds of 9mm ammunition, and is fully functional with strong, wind-able springs. There’s some mild surface patina and finish loss throughout the exterior, with some mild freckling throughout the bottom of the magazine, though there is not much actual finish loss. Great overall condition.
