10/24/22 – This is a great example of an early “type 1” Artillery luger snail drum magazine form WW1. The magazine has retained a majority of its finish, showing only minor signs of use wear/finish loss on its edges. There is some minor pinpricking throughout the magazine, and a small area of rust at the base of the tube. The magazine tube features an imperial crown/s proof near the follower on its left-hand side. The front and back of the magazine drum feature serial number “8763” and maker marks by Bing. Overall a great example of an early Type 1 Artillery Luger drum magazine.
