4/7/21 – This is an original WW2 army dagger, complete with an original hanger, portepee, and very rare, factory felt protector. Hard to find a complete rig like this. The felt protector is unmarked but in excellent condition. The hanger is maker marked by Assmann on the clips, as shown. The portepee has a strong knot with some mild surface wear. The dagger itself is in great overall condition with a clean blade that displays nice cross graining and some mild spots of oxidation. The beige bakelite handle has no cracks or chips.
