3/29/20 – This is an all correct and original Colt 1911A1 from 1943 with the matching numbered slide. The gun shows honest wear and age throughout, with most of the actual finish loss on the front strap. Proper inspectors marks on frame and slide. Colt barrel with small ‘F’ under lug. Bore shows a bit of use but clean and shiny overall. Excellent grips. ‘S’ marked magazine.
