8/18/23 – This is a very nice, original example of a Colt 1911 that was issued to the U.S. military in 1918. All original with 90-92% of the blue remaining. There are no glaring areas of wear, but a general thinning/patina on the straps and a little more thinning on the right side of the frame. Correct Colt barrel with intertwined ‘HP’ marking, and it has a minty bore. Excellent wood grips with sharp checkering and no cracks. Correct, two-tone mag.
