8/31/22 – This is a nice, honest example of an Army Colt 1911 from early 1918. The finish is original throughout, rating at 85-90%. There’s notable patina on the mainspring housing, and a little bit of pinpricking on the left of the slide. Proper Colt barrel with disconnected ‘P H’ marking. Strong bore with just a little frost in the grooves. Excellent grips with sharp checkering and minimal handling wear. WW2-original two-tone magazine.
